How soon can you pick up?Our available pickup times are shown when you order and you can pick the soonest available appointment - or a time of your choice.
-
What is "loose debris" vs. household items or vegetation?Loose debris is drywall and other loose material that is typically waste from a demolition and requires machinery or a large crew to load into our trailer. Household items are furniture and other larger items that can be loaded into our trailer by hand without machinery or shovels/rakes. Vegetation is branches, leaves, etc.
-
Can you take less than a full load?If you have less than a full load for us to pick up, we may be able to help. Call 727-209-8350 and we will try to arrange pickup of your load with another partial load. Our minimum charge for loose debris is $595 and for household items/vegetation $395.
-
Do you clean the area after loading debris/household items? We sweep and blow all hard concrete surfaces and blow any loose debris possible from grassy areas. Depending on the material it may not be possible to remove all small particles from grassy areas.
-
What if I have more debris left after you fill the trailer? We are happy to haul multiple loads for you if you have a large amount of debris or other material to haul. If one load is not enough to complete your order, you can order additional loads. We can pick up a partial load to complete your order if necessary at 50% of the regular full-load price.
-
Do you haul metal items/appliances?We can haul metal items such as appliances if you have a full load at the $695 rate. Metal items cannot be mixed with debris, household items, or vegetation.
-
Can you haul away a mixture of household items and debris? We can take a combination of household items and debris. However, if there is a significant amount of debris the "debris rate" of $995 is required.
-
Why should I have my debris removed when FEMA is removing it at no cost?If FEMA is arriving soon to remove your debris, you may wish to avoid the expense of a private company like PMJ pick it up. However, FEMA often does not remove loose debris far beyond the sidewalk - much of its equipment cannot reach far into the front yard. Most of our customers do not want to wait any longer for FEMA to arrive and want a full-service cleanup (FEMA takes the bulk of the debris but leaves behind a significant mess in many cases). PMJ can help!
-
What areas do you serve? We normally serve Pinellas County only. If you have a large job near Pinellas County we may be able to help - call 727-209-8350.
-
Does my debris or household items need to be by the curb?Your debris must be in the front yard or curbside for our flat-rate service. We also haul debris from inside the house or other areas of your property - Call 727-209-8350 for an estimate.
-
What payment forms do you accepts? The easiest way to order is online by choosing the "debris hauling" or "household item/vegetation hauling" button above and scheduling your pickup. You need not be at the location during the pickup window if you order online. You can also pay by credit card over the phone if you wish or by Zelle. Our driver can accept cash or credit card at your location but we will need you to be present when the driver arrives before we start loading.
-
Do I have to prepay?Prepaying is easiest because you can schedule your pickup online and do not need to be present when we load your debris. If you wish to pay our driver, he can accept credit card or cash payments upon arrival. You must be present at the location before loading starts.
-
How do I know you removed an entire trailer of debris from my property? When we arrive at the site we take pictures of the debris pile and our empty trailer. When we complete loading, we take a picture of our full trailer at the site, and the remaining debris at the site, if any. If you are not present during loading we can provide these pictures upon request following the removal.
